Gold 3x at the Annual Communicator Awards
Porsche online campaigns awarded

Ludwigsburg, 14 June 2012. The web specials for the Porsche 911and the Porsche Boxster received a total of three awards in two categories atthis year’s Communicator Awards. The projects were developed and implemented bythe digital agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler (BB&K).

The web special to launch the new Porsche 911 on the market was the most successful. The integrated online campaign received the Gold Communicator Awardin two categories. Not only do customers receive information in a playful and interactive manner about the most important technical and visual highlights, they can even experience the new 911 emotionally. During a virtual walk around the new flagship, the web special offers detailed information on the innovations. Subsequently, the user is invited to a virtual drive through apark landscape, where he determines the route himself and selects additional information on the interior. Short films based on Flash make complex functions easily understood. In parallel BB&K developed an application that is available free of charge in the app store. It includes the virtual test drive, a 360° panoramic view and a configurator with reduced functionality. What makes the app special is that the configured 911 can then be integrated into a photo that gives the impression of a real situation.

In the wake of the progressing mobilisation of the internet, the focus for the web special on the Porsche Boxster was on its multi-device capability. BB&K relied on HTML 5 for its implementation. The contents are optimised for various presentations and are staged in the form of a high-quality online magazine. A colorator as well as various short films to explain technical features of the vehicle round off the interactive magazine.

“We are of course very pleased thatwe have been so successful with our claim to creativity and our technologicalsolution for our client Porsche – precisely because each and every day weincreasingly must and indeed intend to meet the rising demand for multi-devicecapability. The award for the Boxster online campaign shows us that we’re onthe right track,” remarked Markus Lucht, managing director of the Ludwigsburgoffice of BB&K.
