BB&K at the top of this year's e-learning ranking

Oberhausen: November 9, 2009
Although this was its first year of participation, the new media agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler (BB&K) succeeded in occupying third place in this year’s e-learning ranking. The ranking, which is published by the MMB Institute, looks at the total sales figures and number of employees at German e-learning companies and ranks the top 20 in the industry by their sales within Germany.

With e-learning sales of about EUR 7.5 million and a workforce of 135 in 2008, BB&K was clearly ahead of its competitors. The result of the MMB ranking is a further benchmark that shows the special position of BB&K’s e-learning products in the market. The new media agency, which also implements e-branding projects, designs and develops international training and qualification services for companies such as E.ON, Porsche, Volkswagen, O2 and ImmobilienScout24. Moreover, its eBay online training has been the most successful e-learning project in Europe. A sales training course, developed for Hugo Boss, has been the first and currently only e-learning project to receive the Red Dot Award and thus the most coveted creativity prize in the industry. “Our e-learning courses benefit from our brand, design and strategy expertise. There are lots of training courses out there that are more reminiscent of the tax code than entertaining learning units,” is the verdict of Managing Directors Michael Bassier and Thomas Kindler. Yet with e-learning it is particularly important to attract users and to provide them with fresh motivation. The training courses that have been set up by BB&K are therefore compact, interactive, as close to life as possible, brand-focused and of course highly practical. The two owners of the agency believe that the potential for e-learning still has a long way to go before it is exhausted: “Our experience has shown that e-learning provides globally active companies with an opportunity to train staff within the shortest possible time, at the highest level of efficiency and with excellent control over the resulting quality.”
