The new media agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler came first in this year's MMB E-Learning Industry Ranking
Oberhausen, 6 September 2010
Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler (BB&K) came first in this year’s E-Learning Industry Ranking, provided by the MBB Institute. The new media agency has thus moved from place three in the previous year to the very top. In its E-Learning Industry Ranking the MMB Institute identifies Germany’s e-learning companies with the biggest sales volumes as well the overall market volume and employment figures in the industry and analyses the number of most important e-learning business sectors.
In 2009 BB&K achieved sales in e-learning to the value of EUR 10.8m, with a workforce of 140. This was a further remarkable increase over the result of the previous year, when it had already made EUR 7.4m (with 135 staff). The partners of BB&K, Michael Bassier and Thomas Kindler, said their growth was due to new customers such as the Metro Group and Xella as well as more business from its existing customers, including Commerzbank and Volkswagen. “We recorded some powerful growth in so-called soft areas such as compliance, change management, employer branding and onboarding. It proves that e-learning has become a cross-departmental activity within companies.”
BB&K has been a successful market player for over ten years. The agency, which develops and implements not only e-learning but also e-branding, offers a range of specific training modules as well as various complex blended learning and qualification programmes. So what is their formula for success? “All our training activities and development schemes are based on the everyday working life of the users and are geared towards the tangible brand image of each company,” to quote Michael Bassier and Thomas Kindler. This level of authenticity is apparently warranted by the company’s consistently good training experience and is ultimately the key to ensure that staff will accept such training.
