The new-media agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler receives three red dot awards and one distinction in the Automotive Brand Contest
Ludwigsburg, 8th August 2011
The new-media agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler (BB&K) attains four awards at once this month. The three coveted red dot awards go respectively to the Porsche web specials "Radically Porsche. The new Cayman R." and "Power of attraction. The Black Edition models and the Boxster S Black Edition." as well as to the Hugo Boss online training "Textile Basics". In the Automotive Brand Contest, the Porsche Facebook campaign "Thank you – A 1,000,000 times." was also able to score.
red dot 1: online training "Textile Basics" for Hugo Boss
The global employees of the premium clothing brand Hugo Boss are the target group of the online training "Textile Basics" developed by BB&K. The content of the training is the emotive conveying of knowledge in a way that can be experienced on the origin, use and differences of the textile materials used by Hugo Boss. To make the characteristics of high-quality textile materials understandable, videos and sounds were produced just for this training and close-up photographs were staged. The self-explanatory interactions rich in variety give motivation for exploratory learning. All the learning contents are prepared to be relevant to practice, meaning they can be directly integrated into the daily work routine. By means of the colour-reduced design, the attention of the user is also steered directly to the learning contents.
Hugo Boss online training already back in 2007 was awarded with the red dot communication award – as the very first e-learning project. This new success shows that it's worth understanding online training as an essential tool of integrated brand communication and accordingly to take brand conformity in addition to the learning objectives into account.
red dot 2: web special "Radically Porsche. The new Cayman R.“ for Porsche
The web special was created for the global presentation of the new Porsche Cayman R. The idea: An interactive trip through the night makes "Radically Porsche" something to be experienced. Dynamic video sequences convey the feeling of rapid movement. A total of five spots explore the character of the Cayman R. The message: More individual. More purist. More defined. More impulsive. More radical. The corresponding vehicle USPs are conveyed in each spot through interactive features. The music specially designed for the web special emphasises the character of the Cayman R.
red dot 3: web special "Power of attraction. The Black Edition models and the Boxster S Black Edition.“ for Porsche
Porsche AG is presenting limited special editions with the 911 Black Edition models and the Boxster S Black Edition. A new kind of presentation was required in order to emphasise the distinctiveness of the models: Just as the colour black underscores the sleek beauty of Porsche shapes, the models in the web special are presented minimalistically but highly aesthetically in black and white through infrared photography. In so doing, the limited edition sprays a whiff of glamour into a shooting atmosphere.
Automotive Brand Contest: Facebook campaign "Thank you – A 1,000,000 times." for Porsche
The Porsche Facebook page managed by BB&K broke through the 1-million fans mark this past year. To show a sign of high esteem for fans upon this occasion, Porsche created a very special Porsche in honour of Facebook fans: a GT3 R hybrid that bears the names of fans. This unique example was set up in the Stuttgart Porsche Museum accessible for all. The spatial distance was also bridged with a web special for the international fan community. The user can get as close to it as in reality. And we mean so close that he can find his name and read it.
This extraordinary campaign idea was already rewarded with the German Prize for Online Communication, with the Golden Award of Montreux and the Communicator Award. The Automotive Brand Contest is the first international brand and design competition for the automotive industry. It is being put on by the German Design Council.
