Michael Bassier

Michael Bassier, together with Michael Bergmann and Thomas Kindler, set up the new media agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler in 1998. Since Bergmann’s departure in 2002, Bassier has been managing the agency with Thomas Kindler. Prior to setting up BB&K, the qualified system programmer was owner and CEO of VisArt Computergrafik, an agency that specialised in 3D animation. In addition to working at BB&K, Bassier is also involved in third-level education. In cooperation with the renowned “UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Management” at the Fachhochschule Gelsenkirchen, he lectures at a variety of universities throughout Europe on the subject of entrepreneurship and participates in various research studies.

 
 
Thomas St. Kindler

Thomas Kindler’s entrepreneurial career began before he had even finished his education. From 1994, he worked very successfully as a freelancer in the areas of design and content for various agencies and from 1995 worked exclusively for VisArt GmbH, the predecessor company to BB&K. In 1998, he abandoned his business studies to set up new media agency Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler with Michael Bassier and Michael Bergmann. Since Bergmann’s departure in 2002, he has been managing the agency with Michael Bassier. In addition to his management role at BB&K, Kindler is also a founding member of “be an angel”, a charity whose aim is to help smaller, charitable organisations gain more media attention.

 
 
Andreas Herde

Andreas J.R. Herde, CEO at BB&K’s Oberhausen Office

Andreas Herde took over the management of BB&K in Oberhausen in April 2012. After his training as copywriter and his studies of linguistics he already came to BB&K in 2004 as concept developer. In 2006 he moved to the Berlin Office as Unit Leader Concept. Together with Markus Lucht, he took over the management of BB&K in Ludwigsburg in 2008 and finally switched to customer management. Until he came back to BB&K, he worked for Vodafone Germany in Düsseldorf as Head of User Experience.

 
 
Maximilian Michael Möller

Maximilian Michael Möller, Chief Operating Officer at BB&K’s Oberhausen Office
Maximilian Möller first worked for BB&K in Oberhausen in 2000, when he co-managed the account of a customer in the automotive sector as junior project manager. During his subsequent business studies at the University of Essen with a major inprocess management and business information systems he founded his own business consulting firm in 2001. In 2006 he joined the textile company of his parents,where he set a new course. In 2009 Maximilian Möller returned to BB&K as Account Director. Since January of 2012 he has been working as business consultant for a major customer in the automotive sector. In July of this year he also took over the operational management of the Oberhausen office as Chief Operating Officer.

 
 
Sven Uphaus

Sven Uphaus, CEO at BB&K's Munich Office
Together with Michael Töpler, Sven Uphaus has been running the Munich office since September 2012. After studying business mathematics at the University of Dortmund, Uphaus began his career in management consulting. In 2004 he joined Volkswagen Consulting as a project manager, where he managed strategic projects in sales. Most recently he was responsible for worldwide sales and management training of the Volkswagen brand. Among other things, he developed a new sales rep training concept based on a blended learning approach and established the "Volkswagen Academy" as a joint training unit for sales and after-sales staff. Highlight of his time at Volkswagen was the "Product Experience" project he initiated and developed, where for the first time all European sales reps of the brand were trained in a central location in Spain on the occasion of the launch of the up!.

 
 
Markus Lucht

Markus Lucht, CEO at BB&K’s Ludwigsburg Office
Markus Lucht has been working at BB&K since 2006. The business studies graduate previously worked as a Project Manager with DMC Digital Media Center. As a Senior Project Manager at BB&K, he was responsible primarily for the Porsche Internet account. Under his responsibility, the Ludwigsburg team won numerous awards, including those for the Porsche microsites “Achtung. Der neue 911 GT2” (Respect required. The new 911 GT2) and “Da Capo. Das neue 911 Turbo Cabriolet.” (Best of all worlds. The new 911 Turbo Cabriolet). In 2007, he became Manager of Unit Account Management. In July 2008 he was appointed Cief Operating Officer (COO). One year later he was appointed CEO at the Luwigsburg office.

 
 
Kai Hagenbruck

Kai Hagenbruck, Chief Financial Officer
Kai Hagenbruck joined BB&K in 2000. With a background in event management and advertising, the business studies graduate spent his first seven years with the agency as a Key Account Manager and then worked in Unit Leader Account Management serving a large number of BB&K clients including Porsche, Sal. Oppenheim, Volkswagen, Haniel, eBay, Hugo Boss, Fiat, Continental and O2. In January 2008, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for finance and financial control at all offices.

 
 
Nadine van Haaren

Nadine van Haaren, Chief Communication Officer

After obtaining her degree in Communication Sciences and Political Studies, Nadine van Haaren joined BB&K in 2008 as Corporate Communication Manager. In this function she has played a major role in developing and implementing corporate communication culture at BB&K. Her first project, the BB-K ten-year anniversary magazine, won the Yearbook of Corporate Communication’s platinum award. As from July 2011, Nadine van Haaren is Chief Communication Officer at BB&K and as such a member of the company’s management board.

 
 
Andrea Motyka

Andrea Motyka, Chief of Human Resources
Andrea Motyka started as Manager Human Resources at BB&K Ludwigsburg in 2009 after successfully completing her Psychology degree with a major in Work and Organizational Psychology.  During her studies, she gained experience in Human Resources Marketing and Development at various organizations, both in Germany and abroad. Since February 2013, as Chief of Human Resources, Andrea Motyka is in charge of all BB&K offices’ personnel work and represents HR in the Management Board.

 
 
Christoph Hubertus

Christoph Hubertus, Chief Creative Officer
Christoph Hubertus joined BB&K as project manager in 2004. Prior to joining the agency he studied media sciences at the University of Trier and international journalism at Hamline University in Minneapolis, USA. In 2010 he acted as managing director for the Oberhausen site together with Christian Friedrich. At the beginning of 2011 Hubertus moved from site management to the position of Chief Creative Officer of BB&K. In this role he will have overall responsibility for business development at BB&K across all operating areas.
